German-Polish Co-Development Fund
In 2005, the Polish Film Institute, MDM and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg have established a Polish-German Co-Development Fund. The initiative aims to encourage the development of Polish-German scripts that will help increase the number of co-productions between Polish producers and those from the regions of MDM and Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. The fund is open to producers based in the regions of MDM or Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and Poland, with the maximum amount of funding per project pegged at Euros 60,000, not exceeding 70% of the total development costs of full-length feature films and creative documentaries.
The fund provides selective development support for promising film projects that could be of interest to audiences on both sides of the German and Polish border, as well as to European audiences.
Applications are always welcome.
Next submission deadline: August 1, 2013
