The basics of architectural and landscape photography were explained during the 2002 MDM Film Commission Workshop. Participating location managers and scouts obtained practicable tips on how to achieve high-quality photographs without having to acquire a lot of expensive gadgets. Some of the questions answerd by our speakers were: What architectural details does a photographer have to take into account? While you are taking photographs, what is the importance of brightness and the quality of light? What technical equipment is best suited to help the photographer achieve his/her results? What data must a photographer collect and archive in order to facilitate the subsequent creation of a comprehensive image documentation?
Rosemarie Fret is a Photographer and author from Leipzig. Uwe Riemer works as a set designer for film and TV projects. He was a contributor to well-known films such as “Helden wie wir” and “Job des Lebens”.
