An avid cinema buff, Siddharth learnt his film craft through directing, filming and editing several short and feature length documentaries, participatory and journalistic films. In 2023 he turned his attention towards narrative fiction, studied cinematography in Berlin, and completed his first comedy short, ‘It’s Not Working’ (2024). The film was screened and awarded at several international film festivals and competitions. His home production, Hatu Films, has recently released the documentary titled The Delivery Guy (2025) which speaks of the life of food delivery workers in Berlin. This film is now generating widespread interest in the festival circuit across the world. He is currently working on his second directorial short, ‘The Silent Girl’, a horror story set in Scandinavia. He holds a doctoral degree in Media and Communication Studies from Uppsala University, Sweden.
