bigchild Entertainment was founded in 2019 and is based in Weimar. Despite its young age, the company is already producing a 3D-animated TV series for KiKA (the children’s channel of ARD and ZDF), and also produced a 3D-animated TV series named "Fieps, Little Sparrow – Big City" for the prestigious “Sandmännchen” (“Little Sandman”). Several other projects have been granted funding and are in development.
We mainly focus on the development and production of original content for children and young adults with an emphasis on animated series. All our projects are intended to have a broad appeal while still containing an individual flair. Captivating storytelling and a unique cast of characters are designed to attract international audiences.
